Kristi Bohling-DaMetz served as Chief Executive Officer at HealthTeamWorks from March 2020 to June 2023. Informed by over 25 years of combined experience in healthcare delivery, community and leadership development, and human-centered design, she focused on defining and implementing a better future for health care. Prior to her role as CEO, she joined HealthTeamWorks as Chief Strategy Officer advancing strategic alignment and designing new services.

In addition to her executive role, she worked across initiatives and programs and contributed as a member of the Colorado All-Payer Claims Database Advisory Committee and Executive Member of the Primary Care Collaborative.

Previously, Ms. Bohling-DaMetz was Program Director at TransforMED, a subsidiary of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), leading CMMI’s Patient-Centered Medical Neighborhood Health Care Innovation Award. She led a team of Project Managers, Consultants, Practice Coach Facilitators, Training and Development Managers, and Data Analysts to improve outcomes related to quality, cost savings, patient experience, and scalability across 15 hospital health systems and communities. In that role, she championed optimizing actionable data, population health infrastructure, clinical integration, risk-stratified care management, and the development of medical neighborhoods extending to community-wide collaboration, ultimately achieving reductions in the utilization of low value and avoidable high-cost care.

Prior to joining HealthTeamWorks, she was a Lead Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton where she served as a senior advisor and subject matter expert for the Data Support and Feedback Reporting contract in CMS’ Transforming Clinical Practices Initiative (TCPI) and provided question bank input for Technical Expert Panel (TEP) consideration in the creation of CMS’ Health Related Social Needs Screening Tool.

Ms. Bohling-DaMetz has served in rural community elected office and secured endowed funding for the sustainable development of future rural leaders. She remains focused on convening diverse voices to solve complex adaptative challenges and promote equity.

Ms. Bohling-DaMetz received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wichita State University and MBA from Friends University.
