Want to ask peers how they implement depression screenings? Or ask an expert for tips on making staff huddles more effective? HealthTeamWorks is beta testing a new discussion forum capability in its Solutions Center School space that allows users to post questions and follow discussion threads posted by other members as well as the HealthTeamWorks team. The forums are expected to roll out more broadly in March.
Members of Solutions Center, HealthTeamWorks’ 24/7 online community for health care transformation resources and learning opportunities, can use the forum to access feedback and information from peers and HealthTeamWorks subject matter experts on topics relevant to healthcare transformation and participation in value-based care reimbursement models.
That’s good news for facilitators, quality improvement professionals, care managers and any other member of the care team facing a new challenge or interested in current trends and activities in this arena.
The forums are moderated by HealthTeamWorks staff, who bring facilitation and subject matter expertise to the conversation. Real-time peer-to-peer learning, drawing on the wisdom and experience of other Solutions Center members who have met similar challenges, is the bottom-line benefit of the forum capability.
“The forums are another way for Solutions Center to stay responsive to the learning and development needs of those actively pursuing quality improvement and transformation,” said Kristen Stine, HealthTeamWorks program manager and Solutions Center project lead.
The forums complement other interactive elements, like the live discussion panels and virtual collaborative network, that connect members with peers and HealthTeamWorks experts to rapidly advance learning. Access to hundreds of tools, templates and other resources are at the fingertips of Solutions Center members. For more information, email Stine at KStine@healthteamworks.org, or call 303.446.7200.
