Colorado Springs Health Partners Reduces ED Use with Co-located Primary and Urgent Care

In Q2 2014, HealthTeamWorks^®’ client Colorado Spring Health Partners (CSHP) – Roundtree opened a new urgent care facility co-located with their existing primary care to address rising rates of ED usage. The results were impressive.  From Q2 2014 to Q2 2015, the number of CSHP patients using the ED dropped from 607 to 579 per thousand, and cost per patient per month dropped from $34 to $18. Read more here about how this practice used data analytics to innovate and drive cost savings.
