We gather and study information to inform a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) Analysis. Some examples of resources used to inform the SWOT analysis include organization charts, annual reports, previous Strategic Plans, key marketing materials, minutes from committee and board meetings from the previous year. Our discovery process includes key informant interviews and results in a dynamic stakeholder analysis and map.
We research the economic, business, and political forces impacting your organization and incorporate our findings as opportunities and threats in the SWOT Analysis.
We assist in planning and facilitating staff, executive and board retreats, as well as customer focus groups. These sessions help refine vision while identifying challenges and defining strategic solutions. We apply many facilitation approaches to reach these objectives include process and service mapping, nominal group process, and small group deep dives into targeted discussions. When appropriate, one of our experienced staff members or strategic partners will speak to the trends impacting an organization’s industry.
