After many roles within the NHS, specializing in cardiovascular disease, Joanne established her own business in 2010 offering clinical education, training, and consultancy to the NHS, commercial organizations, and the third sector. Her overall aim is to improve patient care by supporting clinicians and healthcare teams to give the highest quality, efficient, evidence based care through education, training and systems redesign, and improvement. Joanne is also a Specialist Advisor to the Care Quality Commission and sits on a number of national and international clinical working groups and committees within the cardiology field. Joanne's specialties include clinical training, education, and consulting.

- Clinical project support to 'The Breckland Alliance', a Primary Care Home Rapid Test Site selected by the National Association of Primary Care
- Project management of the 'Reducing Hospital Admissions in the Over 75's' on behalf of South Norfolk CCG
- Project management of a program to improve the detection and management of atrial fibrillation in general practice, on behalf of South Norfolk CCG and the Eastern Academic Health Science Network
- Clinical Leadership, design and delivery of a primary care education program 'Improving Knowledge, Improving Care' on behalf of the British Heart Foundation
- Development of Cardiology Nursing Skills and Competency Framework and the design and delivery of an in-house cardiology training program for The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn on behalf of Anglia Stroke and Heart Network
- Provision of education and implementation of GRASP-AF within East Anglia on behalf of Anglia Stroke and Heart Network
- Delivery of DH approved NHS Health Checks training nationwide on behalf of Education for Health
- Delivery of Cardiovascular Risk Assessments in the House of Commons as part of 'Partners in Health' - an event to celebrate and promote working partnerships between the NHS, Third Sector and Life Sciences Industry
