Tom Dameron

After starting his career at a local non-profit Blues Plan, Tom went on to hold national and local health plan executive leadership positions at United Health, Cigna and Aetna. Tom consults with clinically integrated networks (aka ACOs, IDNs, etc.) in his current role as Senior Vice President with Continental Benefits and remains focused on the health care quadruple aim of better population health, better patient experience, better physician experience, and better per capita cost. Tom’s subject matter expertise includes:

• Population health management information technology and assessment analytics necessary to improve outcomes and financial success for clinically integrated networks.
• Value-based contracting on behalf of clinically integrated networks; including, and not limited to, shared savings and shared risk agreements.
• All actuarial and underwriting concepts necessary for financial success in the commercial fully insured market and the employer self-funded market.
• Customized end-to-end health plan services necessary to “productize” the clinically integrated network and sell directly to self-funded employers.

Tom received a BSBA in Statistics from Arizona State University. Tom is a member of the Board of Directors at HealthTeamWorks.
